Kashmir Institute of Medical sciences & Technology is sponsored by a non Government registered trust namely “J&K CREATIVE EDUCATIONAL TRUST” The Government of Jammu & Kashmir has accored the recognition for imparting training in paramedical Courses.

The institute of paramedical sciences of the j&k creative educational trust has been established with the main aim of preparing a competent cadre of young professionals in the areas of Nursing,Pharmacy , Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiology and Imaging Technology and operation theater technology, there is an urgent need to produce paramedical staff for bringing efficiency in the present medical setup by having trained man power of paramedical assistants.

In a short time the institute has gained a reputation for quality teaching and student care. A team of core faculty at the institute with right mix of qualification, experience and enthusiasm ensures regular classes; timely academic progress and proper student mentoring. Discipline and regular attendance of students are closely monitored.

The institute has well ventilated class rooms, well equipped laboratory, and a well stocked library with books and journals. Apart from imparting advanced skills in nursing the institute is working out other value addition modules to assist students to be better nurses and paramedics in their life. For example the institute will conduct short training modules on stress management, patient handling skills, better personality etc. the faith parents and students have reposed on us has motivated us to improve further the quality of our education services.
